Medium size sunstone & brass wire sculpted pendant. Approximately 2.25" (56mm) long by 1.75" (42mm) wide. 18" gold plated chain.
Sunstone was believed to have a piece of the sun. It was prized by magicians who used it to draw on the strength of the sun & the associated power & wealth. It is also said to be associated with the legendary phoenix that appeared at the first sunrise and every 500 years was said to become a flame and rise anew from the ashes.
